WHATEVER YOUR BLOG IS ABOUT, STOP SCROLLING AND READ THIS RIGHT NOW!!!
I just got a text from my friend, Darrya (the girl in the picture), saying that her Dad had woke up and that she was so close. When I replied back, I am given the response, ‘I WAS SO CLOSE TO IT ALL ENDING DX’.
It’s obvious what she was talking about: SHE WAS ABOUT TO KILL HERSELF.
Darrya is an amazing girl, an amazing friend, and the fact that she would’ve been dead if her father didn’t wake up and rescue her scares to the point where I broke down into tears!
She has been bullied for years, being called names by the girls at her school. Her parents are also not the kindest to her either. She has gone through this hard stuff in life, and to think that today would have been the day she decided to kill herself in some way is terrifying beyond any levels.
I don’t give two shits if your blog is about One Direction, Homestuck, Black Butler, or just some stuff with random posts, REBLOG THIS NOW!
I WANT TO SHOW DARRYA THAT KILLING HERSELF WILL ONLY HURT PEOPLE AND HAS NO POSITIVE OUTCOMES WHATSOEVER.
SHE WAS ALSO GOING TO KILL HERSELF THE DAY SHE TURNED 17.
She runs a Sollux Captor page on Facebook, and please, give her encouraging advice, and tell her not to do the wrong thing.
OH GOSH NO. :(
I don’t know her as well as some of her closer friends but I’ve RP’d with her on multiple occasions and she is a wonderful amazing human being who is dear to me and please please help.
Her birthday’s tomorrow guys.
“How come he don’t want me, man?”
From what I’ve heard, Will Smith’s father actually left him. This wasn’t entirely scripted. Will went off on his own rant, and the hug at the end was genuine.
His character was just supposed to shrug off his dad leaving again and he starts to but then Will goes off script. That whole speech is coming entirely from him. The hug at the end is also genuine, actor to actor not character to character.
reblog every fucking time
One of the few genuine moments of television history, and one of the few moments that really get to me.
One of the most believable and brilliant pieces of television ever

Mandy Patinkin considers Inigo to be his favorite role of all time, and one can hardly blame him; in the midst of such a hilarious yarn, Inigo’s fight to avenge his father is perhaps the most moving subplot of the film. But there’s another layer to this tale: it turns out that not long before taking the part, Patinkin’s own father had died of cancer. He said that while filming the final duel between Inigo and Count Rugen, he imaged it as a fight between himself and that cancer. That whole habit of art imitating life allowed Patinkin the opportunity to truly mourn his father. So if watching that scene doesn’t already make you tear up, it probably will next time. If it already had you crying, you’ll be weeping into buckets from now on.
A quick PSA, because working in a New Age store I realize a lot of people don’t know this. Keep in mind this is the simple version.
The fella on the left-hand side, that’s Gautama Buddha, the Buddha, the central figure in Buddhism. Note that he is not considered a god, but a teacher and spiritual leader, the first to attain Enlightenment in his era. Note also how thin he is. This is because the Buddha fasted a lot. He was born Siddhartha Gautama. Buddha is a title, and not actually his name.
The fella on the right-hand side is not Buddha. This is a common misconception in the West. That is Hotai (or Budai or Hotei depending on the language), a Buddhist monk from China and folkloric hero. Hotai is thought by many to be a Buddha, but he is not the Buddha. Unlike Buddha, Hotai actually is revered as a god in Chinese folklore, although not in Buddhist practice.
This post is based on things I’ve been taught by my Buddhist coworker but if I forgot or mixed up something important and you are Buddhist and you notice, please let me know.
This has been an informational post. Have a nice day.
Thank you for this! Explaining this gets tiring.
YES THANK YOU
That is the longest and most beautiful line of cocaine I have ever seen.
